VFC Mission

Our mission is to create a world of vibrant health by using our gifts through the science of homeopathy.

History of VFC

• In 1987, Vital Force Consulting: A Classical Homeopathic Consulting practice was started in Northfield by a newly arrived homeopathic medical doctor from India. Sujata Owens opened VFC at her residence at 1108 Division Street. In the same year Sujata started consulting at Present Moment in Minneapolis too.
• In 1988-89, Sujata added another consulting site at Cox Chiropractic at Calhoun Village, Minneapolis.
• In late 1989, VFC became the only place for Sujata's Homeopathic consulting practice.
• 1990-96 saw continued growth of VFC as Sujata was recognized as one of the best classical homeopaths in state of Minnesota
• In 1995-97, Sujata actively participated in founding Minnesota Homeopathic Association (MHA).
• In 1996, as business and family grew, Sujata moved VFC operations from home to 108 East Third Street, its present location.
• In 2000, National Health Freedom coalition with support from MHA and its dedicated board members created history with Minnesota becoming the first state in nation that passed freedom bill which allowed alternative practitioners to practice their specialty such as homeopathy.
• In 2001, VFC became an S Corporation.
• From 2003-2008, Sujata served as the President of Minnesota Homeopathic Association.
• In 2004, Sujata started teaching advanced courses in Classical Homeopathy in Twin cities.
• From 2005-2008, VFC was graced with addition of homeopathic practitioner Marylu Miller-Peterson.
• In 2009, Kris Flaten, Graduate of NAH and St. Olaf College, started her homeopathic practice at Vital Force Consulting, Inc. office.
